| Bio: | I live in France near Geneva, Switzerland, with my husband and baby son. I was trained as a physicist, but wasn't interested in working evenings and weekends for 10+ years to get a faculty position, so now I work in science communication. I still love science, and think it's important that everyone else does too (and that basic research continues to be funded by the government). You'll see little about my work on livejournal due to the nature of a career in PR (don't want the wrong people reading what you really think!). Instead I write about life with my baby (this blog is mostly for family and friends back home), sometimes about live in France, and increasingly rarely about travels in in Europe. |
